These terms apply to all visitors to our website and all customers who engage us to perform work.
Fort Walton Beach Insulation provides residential and commercial insulation services in and around Fort Walton Beach, Florida, including but not limited to spray foam insulation, attic insulation, blown-in insulation, crawl space insulation, air sealing, vapor barrier installation, and related services.
The specific scope of work for any project will be described in a written estimate or proposal provided to the customer before work begins. Services are performed in accordance with applicable Florida building codes and Okaloosa County requirements.
All estimates are provided in writing following an in-person or remote assessment of the project site. Estimates reflect the scope of work as understood at the time of assessment. If site conditions are found to differ materially from what was assessed - such as the discovery of hidden moisture damage, structural issues, or additional areas requiring treatment - we will notify the customer before proceeding and provide a revised estimate.
Estimates are not binding contracts. Work begins only after the customer accepts the written estimate in writing or provides verbal confirmation. Prices are subject to change if project scope changes after acceptance.
Permit fees, when applicable, may or may not be included in the initial estimate. We will inform you whether a permit is required and include the associated fee in your final written proposal.
Once an appointment is scheduled, we ask for at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may result in a trip charge or rescheduling fee.
We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to weather conditions, equipment issues, or other circumstances outside our control. We will notify you as early as possible and work with you to find an alternative date.
For spray foam and chemical-based insulation projects, the customer is required to vacate the property - along with all occupants and pets - for the duration of installation and for the re-entry period specified in the project documentation. Failure to vacate as required may result in rescheduling and additional charges.
Payment is due upon completion of the work unless a different arrangement is agreed to in writing before the project begins. For larger projects, we may require a deposit prior to scheduling. The deposit amount and terms will be stated in the written proposal.
Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of estimate. Past-due balances may be subject to late fees. In the event that collection action is required, the customer agrees to be responsible for reasonable collection costs and attorney fees if permitted by law.
The customer is responsible for providing safe and clear access to the work areas before the scheduled installation date. This includes removing stored items from attics and crawl spaces, clearing the area around the work zone, and ensuring the work area is free of hazards.
If the work area is not accessible or safe on the scheduled date, we reserve the right to reschedule and may charge a trip fee.
We stand behind the quality of our workmanship. Any warranty on labor or materials will be stated in the written project proposal. Where manufacturer warranties apply to materials, those warranties are governed by the manufacturer's own terms and limitations.
We do not warrant specific energy savings, utility bill reductions, or other performance outcomes. Results will vary based on home construction, HVAC performance, occupant behavior, and other factors outside our control.
Warranties are void if the work has been altered, damaged, or exposed to conditions not covered under normal use, including flooding, structural damage, or unauthorized modifications.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fort Walton Beach Insulation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our website, our services, or the performance or failure of any work we perform. Our total liability to any customer for any claim arising out of or related to services provided shall not exceed the amount paid by that customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, hidden defects, or damage that was present before work began and was not identified during the pre-work assessment.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking emergency equitable relief where necessary to prevent immediate harm.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action arising from these terms or from services provided shall be brought in the appropriate state or federal court located in Okaloosa County, Florida.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
